We are currently seeking a highly motivated advertising sales representative with proven experience in all aspects of advertising sales – digital, print, sponsorship, etc. This individual will work primarily on acquiring general advertising business and establishing new accounts for an important client in the science sector.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Effectively source leads and develop a steady flow of new business through the identification of new advertising prospects.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests, and proactive resolution of potential issues.
  • Work closely with publisher clients to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Close business.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Experience in digital and print media sales.
  • Detailed organizational skills.
  • Inherent problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Ease of adaptability and creative thinking.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of print and online media.
  • Must be able to work with tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to constantly prioritize workload with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects.
  • Skilled in negotiating robust multi-tiered deals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of working experience in print and digital advertising in the media industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Salesforce/CRM.
