Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinator (Updated 7/14/2022)

Essential Job functions:

  • Assist the marketing department with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs, including email, events, social media, and content marketing
  • Social content curation/creation 
  • Client liaison
  • Independently coordinate marketing and community events when required. This includes overseeing logistics, managing registrations, vendor coordination, and ordering marketing collateral
  • Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels
  • Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
  • Conduct market research and identify trends
  • Continually prioritize workload with minimal supervision to manage multiple projects

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in marketing
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Customer service and relations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High level of adaptability and creative thinking
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to constantly prioritize with minimal supervision
  • Ability to truly multi-task
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite, email, etc.
  • Knowledge of print and online media preferred
  • Strong negotiation and consultative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Reports to the VP, Strategy & Operations and VP, Sales & Marketing
