Graphic Designer

Essential Job functions:

  • Must have experience in print magazine design and file preparation

  • Assist the company with the planning, executing, and creation of all
    custom publishing projects, including page design/layout, eBlasts, social
    media, and content marketing as required
  • Conceptualize and create designs aligned with the company’s branding
    and voice
  • Client liaison when necessary
  • Independently manage work schedule based on provided deadlines
  • Create and design material for various marketing channels
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as printers, if required,
    to ensure high-quality and timely execution of all initiatives
  • Continually prioritize workload with minimal supervision to manage
    multiple projects

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Associate’s degree in graphic design, or a related field
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in graphic design
  • Understanding of marketing concepts and design principles
  • Proficiency with Adobe’s suite of products, including Photoshop, InDesign
    and Illustrator
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention
    to detail
  • Customer service and relations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High level of creative thinking and adaptability
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to constantly prioritize with minimal supervision
  • Ability to truly multi-task
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite, email, etc.
  • Knowledge of print and online media preferred
  • Strong negotiation and consultative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A firm grasp of various design platforms, channels, and best practices,
    including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward,
    prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Reports to VP, Custom Publishing
